"I believe therapy is a shared space where you’re fully seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. Together, we make sense of what’s been difficult, uncover your strengths, and help you grow into the person you’re meant to become."
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly ten years teaching swimming which shaped the way I view healing and change. My favorite part wasn’t seeing someone perfect their stroke; it was watching the moment they realized, “I can do this.” That spark of courage, that moment of trust in themselves, is what I now strive to help people find in therapy.
Teaching others to swim taught me something lasting: real change only happens when we feel safe. You can’t learn to float if you’re afraid of the water and therapy is much the same. My goal is to create a calm, trusting space where you feel safe enough to explore what’s been difficult, curious enough to see things differently, and supported enough to take those small steps toward healing.
I believe that growth involves the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — and that grace and hope play a powerful role in change. For clients who desire it, I integrate faith-based principles into therapy to help them find strength, peace, and direction rooted in their beliefs. For those who don’t, my focus remains the same: to offer care, compassion, and understanding without judgment.
When we work together, you can expect me to meet you exactly where you are. I’ll listen closely, walk beside you through the messy parts, and help you reconnect with the strengths and values that have always been within you even if they’ve been hard to see
