Personality & Diagnostic Testing

Personality & Diagnostic Testing

Personality & Diagnostic Testing

Go beyond symptoms. Understand the why.

Why This Matters

If you ever thought...

"I've tried therapy, but I still feel stuck."

"Something is off, but I cannot explain it."

"I don't feel like I have the right diagnosis."

"I have no clue what is going on"

-Your not alone.

Many concerns look similar on the surface. Anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and personality patterns can overlap in ways that make it hard to know what's actually going on.

That's where testing comes in.

Instead of guessing, this process gives you clear, evidence-based answers so that you can finally move forward with clarity.

What is Personality and Diagnostic Assessment?

Personality assessment is a structured, evidence-based process that helps you understand how you think, feel, behave, and relate to others—especially in the areas of life that matter most, like relationships, work, and family.

It’s not just a single test. It’s a comprehensive process that combines clinical interviews, standardized psychological measures, and professional interpretation to create a clear, complete picture of how you function.

Rather than focusing only on what’s happening right now, personality assessment looks at long-standing patterns—how you tend to respond over time, across different situations and relationships.

We look at:

  • What you’re experiencing: anxiety, stress, mood changes, attention and focus concerns
  • How you function: personality patterns, coping styles, emotional responses
  • How you relate to others: communication style, attachment, and recurring relationship patterns
  • How you make decisions and respond under stress: behavioral patterns that may be helping or holding you back

This process isn’t about labeling you or putting you in a box—it’s about understanding the patterns that have developed over time so you can decide what you want to keep and what you want to change.

For many people, this helps answer questions like:

  • “Why do I keep repeating the same patterns?”
  • “Why do I react this way, even when I don’t want to?”
  • “Why do my relationships keep following the same cycle?”

The goal isn’t just insight—it’s clarity that leads to real change. When you understand your patterns at this level, therapy becomes more focused, more efficient, and more effective.

What to Expect

The process is structured, efficient, and designed to provide clarity without unnecessary steps.

1. Initial Consultation (60-120 minutes)
A focused conversation to understand your concerns, history, and goals. This helps determine the most appropriate evaluation approach.

2. Testing Sessions (3–6 hours total, typically split across 1–2 sessions)
You will complete a series of standardized assessments, including both self-report measures and structured tasks. Testing is scheduled in a way that is manageable and not overwhelming.

3. Clinical Analysis and Integration (5–10 hours, completed independently)
All data is carefully reviewed and integrated with your clinical history to form a comprehensive and accurate understanding of your functioning.

4. Feedback Session (60–90 minutes)
A structured, in-depth session where we review your results, identify key patterns, and connect findings across personality, cognition, and relationships.

5. Report and Recommendations (provided after feedback)
You will receive a detailed report along with a clear, personalized treatment plan outlining next steps.

Timeline

The full process is typically completed within 2–3 weeks from the initial consultation to final feedback.

The goal is not only to identify what is happening, but to understand why it is happening and how to change it.

You will receive:

  • A clear explanation of results in plain, clinically accurate language
  • Integration of personality, cognitive, and relational findings
  • Identification of core patterns, triggers, and maintaining factors
  • Space to ask questions and fully process the information

This is not a brief review—it is a comprehensive interpretation of your functioning.

Your Treatment Plan

  • Targeted therapeutic approaches based on your profile (e.g., CBT, ACT, trauma-focused therapy, ERP, relational approaches)
  • Interventions addressing emotional regulation, cognitive patterns, and behavioral change
  • Strategies specific to attachment and relationship dynamics
